I love capturing love. I think too often I see people not capturing their own story because they don't have specific titles - engaged or married. Here's a little secret - I'm not married nor am I engaged. I am however in a very deeply committed relationship that will be celebrating it's fifth year this year (officially, 9 years unofficially but that's another story for another time). I think people's story deserves to be told regardless of the "titles" or "labels" we as a culture and society have tried to institute on people.

Every single love story is different. Every single relationship has started at a different place, different time, different situation, and with different people. Unique. It's why I love it when couples come to me and tell me their story. Real life love stories are 99.9% of the time better than any fairy tale I've read. I get to see their joy and the way their eyes sparkle as they tell me about the moment they knew, the moment time seemed to freeze, and the moment of their first kiss.

This cute couple recently got their first place together. That's such a huge and exciting step. Knowing you want to take your relationship to a new level and really delve deeper with your partner, it's scary but at the same time such an adventure. Relationships - romantic or not - take on a different level when you live with a person. You make more inside jokes, more memories, really learn to relax around the person, and honestly, learn to do life with the other person.

Regardless of where you are at in your relationship I believe you deserve to have your moments captured. You don't have to wait until you are engaged or married, you are allowed to celebrate your love story now! Don't diminish the beautiful thing you have at this moment. It's just as valid and precious as the engaged or married person next to you. And engaged or married friends - this isn't to take away from the incredible thing you have! I'm trying to add more seats to the table of love for everyone who has a love story to tell.
