FAQ
How do I book?
All sessions require half of the session price as a non-refundable retainer in order to book. If for any reason you need to reschedule, I allow 1 reschedule free of charge. Contact me so we can get started!
What if I am late?
Your session starts promptly at the agreed upon time. If you are late, you will only have whatever time is remaining in your scheduled slot. Please always contact me and let me know if you are running late. After 30 minutes, I will cancel the session and you will need to reschedule. You will also forfeit your retainer.
What gear do you use?
I use full frame Nikon D850 & D750 camera bodies. I have and use the following lenses: Sigma Art 35mm 1.4, Nikkor 50mm 1.4, Nikkor 85mm 1.8, Tamron 24-70mm 2.8, Tamron 70-200mm 2.8, and a Sigma Macro 105mm 2.8. I have a custom built PC that I use to edit your photos. ( Ryzen 9 12 core CPU that is PCIe4 ready ;) , G. SKILL TridentZ RGB 32 GB DDR4, equipped with M2 Storage, plus a Nvidia GTX 980 Ti. )
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm located in Salt Lake City, Utah and travel all over the state. I am also frequently in Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, and Colorado.
There is a travel fee for any traveling over 60 miles from zip code 84070.
When will I get my photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with your photos within 2-3 weeks. I always communicate my editing timeline at the session.
How many pictures will I receive?
I promise a minimum of 25 edited photos for a 60 minute portrait session.
Do you give out unedited/Raw photos?
No. My process after a session is to cull the entire session and get rid of all the photos that have someone blinking, talking, were blurry, someone was moving, or many other things that can happen during a session. I only edit and deliver the absolute best photos from a session that will also maintain my brand integrity and artistic vision. I encourage you to look through my portfolio and reach out to make sure we are the right fit for your session!
Will you edit out my double chin / photoshop my hair / etc?
I operate under the 2 week rule - will it be there in 2 weeks? If yes, no I don't edit it. If no, then I do edit it. So what is the difference? Things like pimples, rashes, scratches, etc, are things I will touch up as needed. Weight, height, hair color, eye color, and any other part of the body I do not edit and drastically change appearance. I do not slim down, stretch, enlarge, or any other type of "facetune" edit to your physical appearance. I also do not edit out glasses, braces, casts, etc. Scars are on a client by client basis. Please communicate with me clearly so we can both manage our expectations.
