The blossoms at the Utah State Capitol this year were absolutely gorgeous. I loved getting to photograph so many people there this year. I personally love Spring and Autumn for all of the colors that can appear in the photos. Spring gives such beautiful pinks, purples, and corals giving way to bright green. It makes for such bright and refreshing photos.
This cute Mommy and Me session was the perfect gift for Mother's Day. You can see how they all love each other while still joking and messing around. But they came together and none of these smiles were forced. It was all love.
I think sometimes mom's need those special moments captured with their kiddos. Too often, I see mom taking photos and capturing memories of everyone else, and somehow she doesn't make it into the photos. I always try to capture the special mom and child bond no matter what age. And then I also try to snag some photos of mom by herself to remind her that she took deserves some special attention!
