Welcome to Ember & Ash - a boudoir experience presented by Between the Canyons. Boudoir photography has always been a passion of mine. I want to encourage and empower the female community to love themselves no matter where they are at. My goal is for every person to understand that self love is not a "someday" but a "right now!" Meet Your Photographer:
My name is Emily. And I have been on a journey to love and accept myself my whole life. I wasted a lot of time trying to make myself something I was not, nor would ever be, just to meet an unrealistic standard I had allowed my own self to set. It's taken a lot of tears and heartache to break those chains I put myself into and to start realizing I am an incredible, wonderful, smart, creative, passionate, funny, and beautiful human who is worthy of loving. Especially love from herself.
My mission with boudoir photography is not just to give you some "sexy, seductive" photos. But rather give you the opportunity to feel beautiful in your own skin. I want you to be empowered to love yourself as you are and know that you are ENOUGH. To give you space to clear out those voices that tell you that you are not worthy. To give you the opportunity to break your own chains and free your soul you've trapped with unrealistic standards you've created for yourself.
I know what it's like on both sides of the lens. It's scary. Vulnerable. Nerve wracking. But, it's an incredible experience that I am so glad I have done. I'd love to join you on your journey and give you this same moment that I have experienced.
